Andrew Cone has lived in Hyde Park since 2002. He received a degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Chicago in 2006. After graduation he worked as a computer programmer. He later learned about financial mathematics and quantitative analysis of risk in his job at a startup trading firm in Chicago—skills he is eager to apply to social entrepreneurship.
Steven Lucy grew up in Hyde Park and moved back in 2002. He received a degree in mathematics and history of science from the University of Chicago in 2006. After graduation he worked as a freelance web designer and IT consultant in San Francisco, then returned to Hyde Park again to co-found Open Produce.
Our talented staff include past and present University students and other members of the community. Everyone works hard to keep our store clean, well-stocked, and lively.
